Graphic Designer

" Assists Creative Director in leading collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to drive creative direction and promote a culture of innovative design and storytelling " Works with Creative Director to develop design solutions and creative techniques that will help improve design team performance. " Assists Creative Director in developing and enhancing brand guidelines. " Helps to promote adherence to brand by providing design guidance, and by offering stakeholders and members solutions that keep designs within NRECA design standards. " Acts as point of contact on emails to . " Assists with the tracking and setting deadlines on projects. " Ensures clear communication between design team and project stakeholders by proactively asking appropriate questions that result in clearer understanding of requests, actively listening to the answers, and making sure all expectations are set, understood and adhered to through the JIRA ticketing system. " Coordinates contract-based artists/designers by communicating deadlines and giving guidance of brand standards and acting as point of contact once designer has been selected and hired. " Conceptualizes and produces high-quality, innovative print and digital content for use across NRECA channels. " Mentors and is a subject matter resource for colleagues with less design experience. " Designs brochures, email graphics, handouts, directories, newsletters, reports, presentations, exhibits, banners, kiosks, events, storefronts, transit, direct mail, advertising, photography, video, sell sheets, social media content and websites. Develops infographics to convey complex concepts and/or large amounts of data and produce flash banners for websites. " Manages electronic assets (logos, photos, etc.). " Provides guidance to members for using NRECA owned graphics for appropriate application of NRECA logos and provides design counsel and feedback as requested " Drafts copy as required to fit selected media applications. " Participates in all aspects of print and web/digital design and file production(including gathering of source files, file manipulation, color correction, trouble- shooting, preflight, etc.)
