Furnace Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Summary: This Furnace Operator role offers steady, full-time work in a production setting where precision and consistency matter every day. You will play a key part in preparing molten iron to keep operations moving smoothly and on schedule. Pay is hourly, and training is provided for the right candidate who wants to build hands-on skills.Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm plus Fridays for overtime as requiredPay: $27.00-30.00/hr depending on experience ResponsibilitiesOperate furnace equipment to melt raw iron to required temperaturesPrepare and fill ladles according to daily production needsMonitor iron quality to meet production standardsCoordinate with supervisors to reduce scrap and reworkMaintain raw material supplies and iron vesselsQualificationsPrevious experience with electric or induction melting is preferredExperience in a production or process-focused environmentAbility to learn furnace operation and material handling equipment, including forklift useAbility to lift up to 100lbs
