QA Automation Engineer

Role: QA Automation Engineer Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) About the role: We are seeking a talented and passionate QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to identify bugs and ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality software. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand testing requirements and identify areas for automation. Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify and report bugs. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and infrastructure. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in test automation. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation. Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development process. Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
