CAD Drafter (Residential) - Maitland, FL Contract-to-Hire, full-time hours Compensation: $21-$28/hr. (flexible based on experience)Schedule: Monday to Friday, business hoursAbout the Company:Our client is an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career-minded drafting professionals to join their team. Currently, seeking drafters with previous/current residential design and CAD drafting experience. Responsibilities: Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit) Communicating with internal and external clients Maintaining project records Producing full construction documents in a production environment Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD, preferably in the most up-to-date versions within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus!) Must have knowledge of FL residential codes (Hurricane, etc.). Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes and construction practices Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Experience in residential design and documentation Experience working on full construction documents Team player with a great attitudeBenefits: Health, Dental, Vision Company bonus after permanent conversion
