Production Technician 1(Second Shift) (51638)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITYReporting to the Manager and Assistant Manager of Production/Labeling, the Production Technician is responsible for the separation of whole blood into blood and blood components (including the proper operation of equipment and the labeling of blood components) for long-term storage or shipment. Functions must be completed in a manner consistent with all applicable standards, procedures, regulations, departmental goals and objectives, and must be in compliance with standards set forth by, but not limited to the following regulatory bodies: FDA, AABB, EU, and OSHA.Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours.EDUCATION High School Graduate, or GEDEXPERIENCE Production or manufacturing experience, preferredSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must complete training for essential functions within 90 days, as appropriate for the shift assigned.
