We offer flexibility in scheduling but candidates should be available nights, weekends, and holidays.JOB SUMMARY:The Admissions Host will be responsible for successful operation of greeting guests, ticket sales, rental sales, and activities sales. Within this role you will perform indoors and outdoors duties. The ideal candidates will exhibit exceptional customer service skills and promote a positive attitude.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Provide excellent customer serviceSell lagoon tickets, rental products, special events tickets, gift shop merchandise, and other products as requiredCheck in guests and residents of the lagoon as well as monitor the re-entry processEnsure guests follow company bag check rulesClean your assigned work area as needed for a strong opening, closing, and maintain throughout the dayClean and reset rental areas throughout the day and for closing responsibilitiesAssist with maintaining lawn games and lending materials to guestsAccept, log, and maintain the park's lost and found by adhering to all proceduresAssist guests with any questions or concerns onsite and via phoneUse a walkie-talkie radio to communicate with other team members and leadershipEnsure proper handling of all cash, credit cards, and gift cardsAssist guests in parking area as neededAdhere to all safety policies to ensure guests and team members’ safetyDemonstrate the utmost integrity in all professional and personal mattersOther duties as assigned, including assisting in other departmentsQUALIFICATIONS:HS diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year of Admission Experience preferred. Energetic, enthusiastic and reliable personalityExcellent communication skillsProfessional manner, discretion, and appearanceFlexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on business needsAbility to work outside in all-weather elementsAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
