About EagleEagle is an AI native platform on a mission to unleash engineering services for the built environment.We acquire and scale world-class civil engineering firms by putting proprietary technology into the hands of the engineers who design our nation's critical infrastructure (think water systems, power utilities, bridges, and more).Our ambition is to create the first AI-native engineering design firm to meet the country's generational energy, climate, and infrastructure needs.We're backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm.was founded by Mayank (Penn, ex-Bloomberg, ex-Ethic) and Sohum (Penn M&T, ex-Long Ridge)The RoleEagle is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our team and help shape the future of AI-powered infrastructure design.You'll leverage your Civil 3D expertise to produce high-quality civil engineering drawings while collaborating with our product team to inform how we build technology that transforms design workflows.What You'll DoProduce accurate, detailed civil engineering drawings and 3D models using Civil 3D for water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation projectsDevelop and maintain CAD standards, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency across projectsCollaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into polished construction documentsPartner with our product team to test and provide feedback on AI-powered design toolsIdentify opportunities to streamline drafting workflows and improve production efficiencyManage and organize project files, xrefs, and data shortcuts to maintain clean project environmentsWhat You'll Bring5+ years of experience as a CAD Designer in civil engineering (water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or transportation)Expert-level proficiency in Civil 3D, including corridors, pipe networks, grading, and surfacesStrong understanding of civil engineering design principles and construction documentation standardsMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, accurate drawingsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComfort working in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities
