Holt Logistics Corp. is a family owned, single-source service provider of commercial, accounting, marketing and technology services to marine terminal operators, warehouses and logistics companies.Position SummaryThe Summer Internship Program offers students hands-on experience across multiple departments within the organization. Interns will support day-to-day operations, contribute to real projects, and participate in professional development sessions designed to build workplace skills and career readiness.Internship placements will vary by department based on organizational needs and intern interests, including but not limited to operations, engineering, programming, administration, marketing and IT.This is a paid, full-time summer internship designed to provide meaningful work experience in a professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will vary by department and role, but may include:• Supporting daily operations and ongoing projects within assigned department• Assisting with research, reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed• Collaborating with team members to meet project goals and deadlines• Participating in meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions• Applying academic knowledge to real-world business challenges• Maintaining professionalism, organization, and accountability in assigned workLearning & DevelopmentInterns will have the opportunity to:• Gain hands-on experience in a professional work environment• Learn industry-specific skills related to their assigned department• Develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities• Receive mentorship and feedback from experienced professionals• Participate in structured program sessions and networking opportunitiesQualifications• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university or relevant training program• Interest in gaining professional experience in a business environment• Strong communication and basic computer skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and accept feedback• Dependable and professional work ethic(Field of study may vary depending on department placement.)Company is an equal opportunity employer and offers competitive salary, excellent benefits, paid vacation, and holidays.
