POSITION SUMMARYBuilding Support Rovers provide highly-visible, alert and vigilant concierge, loading dock andsecurity- related services on a roving basis at designated locations at the PropertiesPAY TRANSPARENCY/COMPENSATIONRate of Pay: $25.00/hrRESPONSIBILITIESWelcome and greet tenants, guests, visitors, vendors, contractors and all other parties entering the buildingRecognize and greet Client's senior management when they visit the buildingRegister all guests, visitors, vendors and contractors at the front desk using the building's sign-in procedures and visitor management technology platformsDevelop, maintain, and manage a vetted vendor list for the building, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date, and manage vendor access to the building while onsiteManage lines during rush hours by registering parties entering the building using mobile devicesHandling queries, complaints, and requests via phone, email and general correspondenceCall tenants to notify them of guest arrivals and to verify authorized guests and visitorsAssist any visitors to the building who do not have tenant contact information with finding the appropriate tenant contact personCommunicate with tenants to assist with visitor accessIssue permanent personnel badges and badges/passes for visitors, vendors and contractors to use while on the building's premises, in accordance with the governing security post orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the buildingPreprint and organize entry badges/passes for large group eventsProvide clear instructions for entry and ensure understanding of such instructionsHelp guests and visitors with bags and luggageAnswer questions regarding the building, campus amenities and the surrounding neighborhoodCollaborate with Client and vendor personnel for other functions (e.g. building engineers and janitorial personnel) to respond to tenant and visitor requestsMonitor lobby cleanlinessSet up and manage stations (e.g. stands, tables, chairs) for promotional activities in the lobbyManage mail, package, and food deliveries per building protocolsConduct customer experience huddles with Client's management personnelEnter work orders as authorized by Client's authorized representativesProvide additional related services as requested by ClientMonitor and control access to the buildingProvide coverage between posts for breaksMaintain security awareness of the buildings' premises and immediately report any security concerns, suspicious behavior, crimes in progress, criminal activity, evidence of past criminal activity, or unusual or suspicious incidentsMonitor building systems and alarms via real-time monitoring and, upon observing or becoming aware of an alarm or any other suspicious or criminal activity, make immediate notifications to Client's representatives,Maintain a vigilant observe-and-report posture at all times while providing the Services, acting in accordance with building security procedures, including notifications, post orders, SOPs, and reporting requirementsPromptly report to Client's representatives any building deficiencies and any health and safety or other hazards observed and/or reported during a shift (e.g., lights out, broken sprinklers or windows, leaks and vandalism)Provide immediate notification and management of workplace violence, bomb threats, and trespassing incidents, as directed in the post orders and SOPs for the BuildingIn the event of an emergency (including manmade, accidental, and natural/environmental), act in accordance with the building's Emergency Action Plan (EAP), post orders and SOPs, as appropriateWork is typically based indoors and or outdoors, around a busy multi-building environment subject to frequent interruptions.QUALIFICATIONSMust have one of the experience requirements below.Must have a minimum of 5 years of security experience and/or a minimum of 5 years in the concierge or hospitality industry, demonstrating the capability to operate effectively within a high-level, service-oriented corporate environment while maintaining security standards.Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent from a U.S. Accredited School. Foreign education must be evaluated to meet U.S. education requirements.Be a U.S. Citizen with a social security card and a valid driver's licenseMust meet all medical and physical standards and satisfactorily complete background checks and drug screening Comply with all applicable federal, state and local security personnel registration and licensing laws including possessing a valid state guard license Current CPR/AED/1st Aid Certification Write and speak clearly and effectively in English Successfully complete all training and certification requirements Regular, in-person attendance required Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Office and ExcelExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalActive listenerOrganized and resourcefulGreat attention to detailCustomer-focused with great customer service attitudeProfessional appearance and interpersonal skillsAdept at prioritizing, scheduling and multitaskingAbility to handle office equipment, such as computers, telephone systems, and printersMay be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.Requires continuous and prolonged standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending without the aid of any walking assistance device.Comfortable working in varying Seattle weather conditions, including, but not limited to, extreme summer heat and cold winter, wet conditions.BENEFITSConstellis offers a comprehensive, total rewards package that includes competitive compensation and a flexible benefits package that reflect its commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
