As our school continues to grow, we are seeking creative and collaborative individuals to join our dynamic team.Position Summary:CJDS is seeking reliable and caring Part-Time Substitute Teachers to support classrooms in grades Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade. Substitutes will be called on an as-needed basis and will work in collaboration with teaching teams to ensure a smooth continuation of the classroom experience during teacher absences.Qualifications and Requirements:Prior experience working with children, ideally in a classroom settingStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to follow written lesson plans and support students in staying on taskFlexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitudeBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredKnowledge of Hebrew or Judaism is not requiredKey Responsibilities:Implement lesson plans left by the classroom teacherMaintain a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environmentMonitor student behavior and support student learningCommunicate any issues or updates to school leadership as neededSchedule & Compensation:This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible scheduling based on school needsCompensation is offered at an hourly rate
