Social Recovery Center - Kitchen Staff Part Time Weekdays 25-30 hours/week Springfield NJOrganization: Social Clubhouse, Inc.Location: Springfield NJ 0708 (In-Person)Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am to approximately 2:00pm (occasional flexibility until 3:00pm based on program needs)No evenings. For over 30 years, we have provided structured day services that support recovery, stability, and community connection.We are seeking a reliable, compassionate part-time Kitchen Staff team member to prepare and serve daily breakfast and lunch in a welcoming, respectful environment. If you enjoy cooking, value routine, and want a predictable weekday schedule, this is a great opportunity. What You Will Do:Prepare and serve daily breakfast and lunch for program membersAssist with weekly meal planning and food purchasingFollow CACFP food standards to meet reimbursement requirementsClean kitchen, wash dishes, and maintain sanitary food prep areasReceive and organize weekly food deliveriesSupport special event meal preparationWork collaboratively with program staff to create a positive environment=Lunch service is completed by 1:10pm, followed by cleanup.What We Are Looking For:At least 1 year of food preparation experience (required)Experience working in a commercial kitchen settingExperience working with adults with special needs or mental health diagnoses preferredNJ Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)Valid driver’s licenseAbility to lift 30 poundsReliable, organized, and comfortable working independentlyPrevocational experience with special needs populations is preferred.
