The role is involves:Case Management & FilingsOrganizing and managing all state and federal filingsProject managing litigation and enforcement mattersEnsuring deadlines, pleadings, and campaigns move forward seamlesslyExecutive Assistant to DarinFull ownership of calendar managementScheduling, prioritization, and workflow coordinationActing as a gatekeeper and strategic support partnerIntake Support & Matter ManagementBackup support for client intakeOpening and tracking new mattersSupporting transition of intake admin toward a more sales-focused roleThis is a fully in-office position (Monday-Friday, flexible within reason on hours)Ideal Candidate ProfileRequired Experience & Competencies5+ years of litigation experience (paralegal, legal assistant, firm administrator, or case manager)Texas State and Federal litigation experienceBackground in intellectual property or commercial litigationHighly organized and detail-orientedAble to juggle multiple competing deadlines with urgencyTeam-first mindset with strong ownership mentalityComfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-accountability environmentPreferredCertified ParalegalExperience with Clio (very strong plus)Year 1 Performance Objectives1. Own Litigation OperationsWithin the first 90 days, take full ownership of:All case filings (state & federal)Calendar tracking and deadline managementMatter organization and document controlSuccess looks like:Zero missed deadlinesClean, well-organized case filesAttorneys confident that matters are moving without constant oversight2. Successfully Project Manage a Major Enforcement CampaignTake lead operational responsibility for a high-visibility anti-counterfeiting campaign involving a well-known brand.Success looks like:Coordinated filings and tracking across jurisdictionsClear communication across internal team membersCampaign running smoothly without escalation3. Elevate Executive Support to a Strategic LevelFully assume control of Darin's calendar, scheduling, and workflow prioritization.Success looks like:Optimized schedule aligned with firm prioritiesReduced friction and interruptionsDarin able to operate at a higher strategic level4.
