Description In 1762, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, invented the meal that changed dining forever. As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands. Thus, the Sandwich was born. The Supervisor is responsible for Restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and to assist the General Manager with activities that will enhance the overall operation of the restaurant and ensure Guest and Team satisfaction. Our family knows about great sandwiches. We Invented the Sandwich and have been eating sandwiches since 1762. Using 250 years of experience, we bring you Earl of Sandwich . Our secret is our famous artisan bread baked when you order, and traditional family recipes prepared with fresh ingredients. We are a family who loves making sandwiches and sincerely hope you enjoy eating them. Essential Function: * Overseeing staff and monitoring all crew activities while maintaining regulatory compliance, company policies and product standards. * Assists Management team with people and leadership skills. * Uses high energy coaching to build morale and motivate team members to achieve daily commitment and goals. * Execution of EOS guest service standards including interaction with guests and handling guest service issues. * Has the ability to use various feedback tools in developing and implementing plans for continuous improvement of financial controls, quality issues and guest satisfaction. * Assists General Manager with the recruiting, selection processes, interviewing, retention and training of all employees. * Assist the General Manager with the execution of scheduled shifts to ensure adequate employee staffing, ensure 100% guest satisfaction and maintain daily and weekly financial controls. * Assist General Manager with the development and usage of par levels for inventory control and daily prep plans. * Maintain and monitor food safety standards. * Give daily recognition as a means to motivate team members and drive results
