Job Type Part-timeDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Courteously and efficiently interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction while dining, in accordance with all Company standards and procedures. Provide friendly, attentive, and timely service, creating an exceptional experience for all of our guests. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Responsible for taking phone orders for deliveryResponsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Pop Up Pizza and Play LV properties at all timesInform the immediate supervisor of any product shortages and equipment needsCarry work cards at all times during the shiftBehave in a positive, professional manner that reflects Pop Up Pizza and Play LV practicesPractice and observe safety rules and regulations, and encourage others to do so. Comply with Board of Health StandardsMaintain personal grooming and uniform standards pursuant to Pop Up Pizza and Play LV policiesDisplay knowledge of all emergency procedures and know where the MSDS booklet is located for your areaInform managers on duty of any Team Member of guest opportunitiesEnsure proper serviceEnsure the efficient and smooth operation of the restaurantUse all cash handling proceduresHave detailed knowledge of the facility and its amenitiesHave a complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including their preparation, ingredients, cooking methods, portions, and pricesBe aware of activities in the dining room, including but not limited to the service standards being used, the bussing of tables, station assignments, special functions, the presence of executives, and the availability or unavailability of particular itemsRun the cash register and handle money Ensure employee safetyRemove debris (napkins, straws, etc.) from the floors if necessaryResponsible for the register bank and all money, charges, and comps collected during a shiftHave knowledge of all methods of check tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit cards, gift certificates ETC.)Balance all checks at the end of the Shift and turn in work in a neat and organized mannerThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position. RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Required: Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision.Must be able to obtain all required work cards for the jurisdiction in which the property is located. Including but not limited to Non-Gaming Card, Clark County Food Handler Card, and Alcohol Awareness card.Adhere to all Company and department policies and procedures.Practice the Ten/Five rule consistently with internal and external guests.A minimum of one year of experience in a fast paced high energy service environment.Preferred: MICROS experiencePrevious experience working in a similar resort settingCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Alcohol Awareness CardFood Handlers CardKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent customer service skills.Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS: Regular scheduled hours PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have the physical ability to access all areas of the facility; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects; withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing at least 50 lbs. without restriction.Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure; work indoors and outdoors, as well as being exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.Most work tasks are performed indoors; however, there are events where outdoor activities are required.
