Senior QA

Kforce has a client in Philadelphia, PA that is seeking a Senior QA. Responsibilities: * Lead end-to-end manual testing for web applications (functional, regression, exploratory, usability) * Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring clear coverage and traceability * Identify, document, and track defects in test/bug tools; partner with developers through triage and resolution * Perform cross-browser and cross-platform validation to confirm compatibility and user experience consistency * Participate in requirements and design reviews to surface gaps, ambiguities, and testing risks early * Validate bug fixes and release candidates, confirming readiness for deployment and reducing production issues * Mentor and guide junior QA team members on testing strategies, documentation standards, and best practices * Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and tooling to increase quality and efficiency* 5+ years of hands-on manual QA experience, primarily with web-based applications * Strong experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios * Proven ability to identify, document, and track defects using test/bug management tools (e.g., JIRA or similar) * Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cross-browser testing * Experience validating bug fixes and release candidates in fast-paced environments * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business)
