OverviewPSV has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced Information Technology Specialist II to join our dedicated IT team! This specific role will be supporting our various locations and is located in Fairfax, VA. This person is also responsible for providing support to clinical and administrative staff throughout the organization to maintain end-user connectivity for a variety of IT systems.ResponsibilitiesProvide IT support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications, as well as virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMwareDesign, implement, and support services for Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.Provide technical services and support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and IT security platformsRemote access solution implementation and support: VPN, RDWeb, Terminal Services, and CitrixProvide system documentation and consulting services to include system reviews and recommendationsAdditional projects and duties as assigned75 % of role comprised of Help Desk Coverage and 25% project integrationMinimum Qualifications Required Five (5) years of related work experience Ability to diagnose technical issues and allocate resources appropriatelyAbility to multitask, adapt, and work quickly and accurately in a fast-moving environmentValid driver's license, ability to travel between satellite clinics, and proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle used is requiredExcellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsAll employees must pass an employment TB, drug and physical examDesired QualificationsProfessional IT Certifications, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Citrix CCEA or CCIA, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, Comptia A+ , Network+, Security+, Cybersecurity Analyst (CSA+) or CASPExperience with Epic Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related technical fieldPhysical Demands of PositionThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
