Food Runner - Resort Pool (Part Time)

 To provide the best service possible to our guests and to seek moments to be extraordinary in what we do. Set up food runner station according to Terranea’s standardsAccurately reads tickets for special preparations/allergiesRun food orders from kitchen to guest’s seatConsistently keep the pool organized and cleanHelp pick up soiled plates and beverages, and place into bus tubsEnsure full bus tubs get brought back into service areaMaintain cleanliness of work areas, storage, towels, throughout the dayComplete closing duties, including requisitioning itemsEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalAcknowledge all guests according to company standardsAnticipate and address guests` service needsSpeak with team members and guests using clear and professional languageEnsure adherence to quality expectations and standardsMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistancePerform other reasonable job duties as requested by SupervisorsAdditional Duties & Responsibilities:Adhere to departmental policies and proceduresEffectively communicate with peers, management, line and front of the house employeesBe responsible for the cleanliness of the immediate work area as well as the general propertyBe courteous to all guests and coworkers Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individualMust be able to speak and comprehend EnglishAbility to implement and uphold service standards Ability to work under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold).Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of timeExperience, Education, & Licensure:High School diploma preferred Must possess valid Food Handler’s cardCompensationBase Pay Start Rate: $16.90/ hr
