Job Summary: Northern Stamping, a prominent unionized metal stamping company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess advanced electrical knowledge, have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, and demonstrate a proactive approach to ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.Key Responsibilities:Preventative maintenance on the press or weld cellsBasic mechanical repairs, basic electrical wiringBasic electrical wiring, as trainedPerforming technical maintenance duties as directed by management.Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems and components, including motors, control circuits, PLCs, and stamping machineryWork closely with the production team to ensure minimal interruption to operations due to electrical failures.Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance activities, including work completed, parts used, and service intervals.Install, upgrade, and replace electrical systems, equipment, and machinery as necessary.Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems and components, including motors, control circuits, PLCs, and stamping machinery.Includes overtime and weekend work Preferred Qualifications:Must have a journeyman's electrician certification or at least 2 years of advanced education in electrical engineeringAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Northern stamping is an equal opportunity employer and encourages individuals of all backgrounds to apply.
