Allegro IT Lead

Position: Wholesale - Allegro IT LeadLocation: Irving, Texas (Onsite)Duration: 9 MonthsIndustry: Utilities and Commodity TradingRole ObjectiveThe Allegro IT Lead will manage and oversee the client's IT operations for Wholesale applications, focusing on Allegro ERTM systems. This includes handling commodity trading solutions for power, gas, coal, and nuclear markets, as well as ensuring smooth end-to-end management of all critical business processes and IT operations.Key Requirements for CandidatesExperienceAllegro ERTM: Minimum of 5 years of experience with Allegro software. Commodity Trading Knowledge: 5 years of experience specifically within Power, Gas, Coal, and Nuclear markets. Leadership & Technical Skills: 8+ years of experience in IT management, including designing and implementing Allegro extensions, interfaces, and other complex systems. Technical and Soft SkillsProven experience in systems architecture and service delivery is highly desirable. Experience with AWS Cloud is beneficial for this role. Exceptional incident and problem resolution skills with the ability to manage both onshore and offshore teams. Educational BackgroundDegree or Master's in Computer Science or a related field. Industry ExperienceExperience in Utilities and Commodity Trading is crucial for understanding client expectations and effectively supporting the role's technical and functional demands. Core ResponsibilitiesIT Operations Management: Oversee IT operations, including monitoring SLAs, managing month-end/year-end activities, and ensuring batch processes are completed. Incident & Problem Resolution: Act as the primary business contact for any critical incidents, ensuring prompt resolution. Release & Change Management: Manage release cycles, secure necessary change management approvals, and oversee patching activities. Team Leadership: Lead and manage both onshore and offshore teams to ensure efficient daily operations. Reporting & Compliance: Report metrics and status updates to Accenture and client leadership; participate in audits and ensure security compliance.
