Mechanical Engineer

ITS has a client in the Akron, OH area that is seeking a skilled professional for a direct hire role with full benefits, including 401k. The role is open due to the need for support in managing the workload as the company grows. The ideal candidate should be a licensed or unlicensed mechanical engineer with experience in Revit, capable of mentoring junior engineers and handling project management. Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred Extensive experience using Revit software Self-motivated with strong project coordination skills Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Coordinate projects with architectural support staff Collaborate with both internal and external engineering teams Report directly to a Principal or Director Manage either 1-2 larger projects or multiple smaller projects simultaneously Mentor junior engineers Oversee projects from schematic design through construction administration Project Types The position may involve working on various types of projects, including: Medical facilities Hospitality venues Multi-family residential buildings Commercial office spaces Industrial projects And more The ideal candidate for the role should have experience in various sectors, including multifamily apartments, industrial, healthcare, and office spaces, but not be overly specialized.
