Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Regional IT Director in Metro DetroitScope of ResponsibilityGeographic & Operational ScopeRegional IT leadership across North America supporting 20+ locations, including 15+ production sitesEnsure high availability, performance, and security across manufacturing and engineering environmentsOrganizational & Reporting ModelSenior regional IT leader operating within a global matrix organizationPartner with global IT (architecture, cybersecurity, platforms) and regional business leadershipLead a federated IT organization, including local IT leaders, and influence cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Engineering)Scale & CriticalityOversight of 20+ sites and ~250+ IT employees (excluding contractors)Support 24/7 production-critical operations across multiple time zonesAccountable for business continuity, incident response, and operational resilienceCompliance & AuditMaintain audit readiness for cybersecurity and operational standards (ISO, TISAX, NIS2 where applicable)Own regional remediation and compliance executionQualificationsBasic QualificationsBachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Business/Economics a plus)10+ years of IT experience, including leadership in multi-site or enterprise environmentsExperience supporting both manufacturing and corporate environments with high availability requirementsProven track record in process improvement, standardization, and large-scale initiativesExperience leading teams (10+), ideally in manufacturing or automotiveStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster s degree or equivalent experience12 15+ years of IT experience with senior leadership exposureExperience leading leaders in multinational, multi-site environmentsProven ability to govern end-to-end IT operations across regions (KPIs, standards, operating model)Background supporting plant operations and/or R&D environmentsAdditional ExpertiseIT service management (ITIL or similar) across full service lifecycleStrong financial acumen (OPEX/CAPEX, cost control, vendor management)Experience in strategy development, change management, and executive communicationPortfolio/program governance experience (prioritization, delivery, executive reporting)Knowledge of information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001) and risk managementIf you are a high performer and would like to work for an equally highfor you, we invite you to apply to this job and email your resume to [email protected] treat all resumes with strict confidentiality.
