This role is essential in helping maintain student safety, reinforcing expectations, and ensuring the lunchroom runs smoothly and safely. Punctual and dependable. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise students in the cafeteria and during recess to ensure safety and appropriate behaviorsMonitor and assist students while eating lunch, including opening containers or addressing minor needsEnforce school rules and expectations in a consistent and respectful mannerSupport smooth transitions between lunch and recessAddress minor conflicts and refer concerns to appropriate staff when necessaryQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience working with children (preferred)Ability to manage groups of students in a structured environmentAbility to remain calm and respond appropriately in various situationsDependable and punctual Physical RequirementsAbility to sand and walk for extended periodsAbility to work both indoors and outdoors (weather permitting)Ability to respond quickly to student needs and emergenciesBenjamin SD 25 is an Equal Opportunity Employer
