We have been a major partner in the unprecedented growth and development of Teterboro Airport (TEB), America's busiest Corporate GA airport, and the New York Area's oldest operating airport, ever since it was first turned over to private management in 1970.Skills and KnowledgeMust have ability to maintain order among large groups of persons during routine airport operations and emergencies.Must possess situational awareness, alertness and skill in detecting and recognizing safety hazards.Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions.Must be able to achieve or meet all training required and TSA 1542.Must achieve and maintain knowledge and skills related to airport landside operations, and related security duties.DutiesPerform tasks associated with the Airport Operations Center (AOC), terminal operations and other duties as assigned.Answering multi-line phone systemsMonitoring and communicating on radio frequenciesMonitor airport -wide fire alarm systemOperate and Monitor CCTV systemAbility to remain calm during stressful situations which may involve life-safety incidentsAccurately maintain daily logsUnder the direction of the General Manager/Chief of Public Safety or Deputy Chief of Public Safety and the Shift Operations Supervisor/ARFF Captain, assist and participate in operations, life safety, and security activities at the airport and its facilities.Maintain all tools and equipment in good working condition.Accurately prepare reports as required. Assist in controlling vehicular and pedestrian AOA entry including conducting vehicle inspections.Maintain surveillance of the terminal and other buildings and provide general security of the Airport.Perform duties associated with airline operations including terminal and other buildings and provide general security during passenger flight operations.Must obtain and maintain knowledge of the AEP, ACM, SICP, ASP, TSA 1542, and FAR 139, as well as any other relevant material for the position of PSO I.Perform delivery inspections as required.Contribute to the publication of relevant Notice to Airman (NOTAMS) for the Airport based on criteria established in the Airport ACM.Must possess alertness and skill in detecting and recognizing safety hazards.Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSTo perform this job successfully, the selected individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
