For the world's and people's tomorrows; the world's first, the world's best technologies and products; we will continue our part in creating a better society.Job SummaryThe Machine Operator Level 1 is responsible for safely operating basic production machinery, performing routine quality checks, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure products meet established standards. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals developing their technical skills and understanding of production operations.Job DescriptionSPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Operate assigned machines or equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).• Start, stop, and monitor machine performance throughout the production run.• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.• Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected. • Work with others in order to ensure that equipment is in proper working order. • Conduct basic quality checks using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, or visual inspections.• Record production and quality data accurately.• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE• Minimum age requirement 18+• High school diploma or GED preferred• Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required• Ability to work assigned shift (including overtime as needed)• Ability to read and understand work instructions or SOPs• Attention to detail• Strong work ethic and reliability• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment• Basic math and measurement skillsWORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS• Stand for extended periods• Lift and move materials up to 40-50 lbs.• Perform repetitive motions• Work in environments with moderate noise, heat, or vibrationThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
