Summer IT Staff

Charlotte Latin's IT Department has an amazing summer opportunity for current CLS students and alumni. Latin is looking for Charlotte Latin Students to assist the IT staff with summer projects. Work begins as early as mid-May and continues through mid-August. Learn mobile device management, system imaging and prep, secure printer hardening, and more.Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities Configure new computers, iPads, projectors, apple tv's and printers around campus. Patch/Update computers and iPads using mobile device management tools. Prepare old equipment to be securely recycled or returned. Test and document status of digital projectors / AV across campusEducation and Experience Applicants must be at least a rising 10th grader. Previous technology experience preferred.Skills Candidates must be able to work independently and follow and execute instructions/directions. Adhere to the highest level of professionalism and confidentialityWorking Conditions and Environment Intermittently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Continuously see, sit, balance, grasp, and have repetitive use of arms, wrists, hands, and fingers; and some fine finger dexterity. Frequently talk and hear. Intermittently stand, stoop, bend, twist, crouch, kneel, crawl, walk, climb stairs, step stools and ladders, operate foot and hand controls, squeeze, and reach above shoulders. Exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, flammables, grease, dirt, stacked materials, electrical equipment, machinery, low to medium noise levels, and moderate indoor temperatures of heat and cold. Long or odd hours, as needed.
