Title: Shipping/Logistics Technician II Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. Employment Type: Contract Estimated End Date: March 2027 Schedule: 3rd Shift - Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Location: East Aurora, New York Job Code: 1940 FAA: Yes Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Shipping/Logistics Technician II to work on-site with our client, a leading organization within the Commercial Aircraft Group. This role supports production, repair, and logistics operations in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. Responsibilities: Perform material handling and logistics operations supporting production, repair, development, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) activities. Execute processes including material delivery, kit pulling, stocking, receiving, and packaging. Receive, package, count, and properly locate parts within inventory systems. Develop working knowledge of internal software systems and complete transactional tasks accurately. Prioritize daily workload to meet production and operational targets. Communicate with shop leads and repair teams to ensure timely processing and delivery of materials. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and customer service teams to support operational needs. Operate material handling equipment and utilize cranes or lift carts for heavy items as needed. Perform frequent lifting, bending, and movement of materials throughout the shift. Handle incoming calls and support communication across shift personnel. Respond to urgent situations and assist with coordination during emergencies or evacuations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards. Must-Have Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and follow verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English. Minimum of 3 years of material handling, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience. Valid New York State driver's license required. Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to lift, bend, and move materials regularly throughout the shift. Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated production environments. Experience supporting MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations. Familiarity with inventory systems and warehouse management tools. Experience operating material handling equipment. We need hard-working, reliable employees.
