Senior Full Stack Developer Job Summary Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a client in the insurance industry located in the western Chicago suburbs. This is a 9-month contract engagement (through year-end 2026) with a preference for candidates able to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days per week onsite during ramp-up, with flexibility thereafter).This role will be part of a new Rapid Delivery team and the senior-most developer. The Developer will be responsible for designing and building small-to-mid-sized solutions that address immediate business needs. He/She will operate as a highly versatile technical lead, combining development, solution design, and business-facing skills to take initiatives from concept through delivery. This individual must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, working across multiple technologies, and collaborating directly with stakeholders to shape effective solutions. The ideal candidate will combine broad exposure to different tech stacks, fluency in development best practices and concepts, and polished business presence. Candidates with a narrow tech stack specialization will be intentionally avoided here. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of solutions, including design, development, testing, and release preparation Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand needs, refine requirements, and shape solutions Recommend appropriate technologies and approaches aligned with both business goals and IT standards Collaborate with internal IT teams to review and validate architectural approaches Build scalable, maintainable solutions across multiple technologies and platforms Ensure clean handoff of completed solutions to support and operations teams Contribute to continuous delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives Navigate organizational challenges and drive progress in a fast-paced delivery model Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of full stack development experience with broad, multi-technology exposure Strong ability to translate business problems into technical solutions Experience with a range of technologies such as .NET, SQL, Python, Java, various APIs, automation tools, and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.) Demonstrated experience with solution design and light architecture responsibilities Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders Experience operating in fast-paced, iterative delivery environments Ability to adapt quickly and work across different stacks depending on project needs
