Our success rate is unmatched by any other firm.Legal AssistantStrategic Legal Practices is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our litigation team. This role supports attorneys and paralegals in managing court filings, coordinating service of process, calendaring deadlines, and maintaining case files.The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of legal procedures and court filing systems, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and file legal documents with state and federal courts (electronically and in person)Coordinate service of process and ensure compliance with applicable rules and deadlinesCalendar and monitor litigation deadlines, hearings, and court appearancesCoordinate and reserve hearing dates with courts and opposing counselMaintain organized and accurate case files and recordsTrack filings, service, and court confirmationsCommunicate professionally with court personnel, clients, opposing counsel, and internal staffAssist attorneys and paralegals with document preparation, correspondence, and administrative tasksSupport overall case management to ensure timely progression of matters Qualifications Prior experience in a law firm or litigation environment preferred Experience coordinating depositions and inspections strongly preferred Familiarity with California state and federal court filing systems Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and calendaring procedures Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferredThis role will be onsite in Century City The pay will be $23-$32/HR
