Job Summary: The Seasonal Food Service Operators provide day-to-day concessions of a designated unit. This position is responsible for equipment and facility maintenance and oversees cash handling and the revenue collection process. Seasonal Food Service Operators ensure consistent and quality delivery of goods and services to maximize revenue opportunities while preserving and enhancing department assets. Essential Responsibilities: Recommend hiring of concessions seasonal staff and provide guidance and direction for job assignments. Assist with performance appraisals, training, and workforce development opportunities. Oversee the day-to-day operations, including quality food and beverage preparation, menu planning, and pricing. Complete monthly inventory and implement cost control measures. Complete daily cash reports, oversee proper cash handling procedures, and perform petty cash management (including completion of daily logs and reports). Complete schedules, new hire paperwork, daily reports, inventory, order product for services, and code invoices. Perform all other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States. At least 18 years old at the time of application. Possession of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. At least one (1) year of experience in Food Service, Cash Handling, Customer Greeting, or a related field. At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in Food Service, Leading a Team, or Training. Willing and able to work irregular hours due to overtime, weekend work, or shift rotation. Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time in this role. NOTE: This original application is open to permanent residents of the United States. Appointee must establish residency in the state of Wisconsin within six months of start date and maintain such residency during incumbency. In accordance with Section 11, Rule 3 of the Civil Service Rules a non-competitive examination will be held for this position.
