We have clients in various industries including Non-profit, Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Affordable Housing, and more. Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add 1-2 new Audit Supervisors to our PA teams! The Audit Manager for State and Local Government will oversee audit engagements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing high-quality service to our clients. This role is essential for maintaining our reputation for excellence in the audit field and ensuring that our clients meet their financial and operational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise audit engagements, plan, coordinator and oversee engagements, perform audit proceduresConduct thorough reviews of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and GASB standards.Lead the planning and execution of audit procedures, including risk assessments and internal controls evaluations.Review workpapers, reports and audit files, providing feedback and guidance to audit staff.Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients, fostering strong client relationships.Stay current with relevant regulations and best practices in state and local government auditing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.CPA certification is required.4+ years of experience in audit, preferably in public accounting.Strong knowledge of state and local government regulations and auditing standards.Experience with manufacturing and/or distribution clients preferred.Proficiency in reviewing financial statements and workpapers.Familiarity with internal controls assessment.Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop audit strategies.Benefits3+ weeks of PTOManager Incentive BonusGrowth Opportunities to Partner LevelFlexible/hybrid schedules (including half-day Fridays in summer)Dress for your day policy (jeans ok :)401k profit sharing planIndividual Medical Insurance covered by US
