By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.Utilize various precision measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions.Initiate and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in root cause analysis.Maintain and calibrate quality control equipment and gauges according to established schedules.Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).Collaborate with production personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.Recommended QualificationsProficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs).Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies (e.g., SPC).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying non-conformances and performing root cause analysis.Excellent documentation and report writing skills for maintaining accurate quality records.Bonus QualificationsExperience with CMM programming or operation.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Yellow Belt certification).Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).Previous experience conducting internal quality audits.Job Titles That Should ApplyQuality Technician, QA Technician, Quality Control Technician, QC Technician, Quality Inspector, Quality Assurance Technician, Manufacturing Quality Technician, Production Quality Technician, Junior Quality InspectorWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
