By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new products and processes.Facilitate complex root cause analysis using 8D methodology and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Develop, implement, and optimize Quality Control Plans, FMEAs, and process documentation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies to enhance product and process quality.Provide quality engineering support during new product introduction, process development, and manufacturing launches.Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop strategies for defect reduction and process capability improvement.Ensure compliance with relevant quality management system standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.Expertise in advanced quality planning (APQP), FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.Proficient in advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC).Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.Bonus QualificationsMaster Black Belt certification.Experience applying advanced statistical modeling or machine learning techniques to quality data.Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for real-time quality monitoring.Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of Quality 4.0 initiatives (e.g., IoT integration, AI-driven inspection).Job Titles That Should ApplyAdvanced Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Engineer, Lead Quality Engineer, Principal Quality Engineer, Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Improvement Engineer, Process Quality Engineer, Reliability EngineerWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
