International Operations Administrative AssistantThis is a hybrid position based in our Chicago/O'Hare Area office. Candidates must live within a 100-mile radius of home office.Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000OverviewThe Society of Actuaries is seeking an International Operations Administrative Assistant to support our global team with high-quality administrative coordination and day-to-day operational execution. This role is well suited for someone who is highly organized, detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.What You'll DoProvide administrative support to the International Department, including scheduling, meeting coordination, document preparation, and operational follow-upManage calendars and support meeting logistics for department leaders, including proactive identification of scheduling conflicts and coordination needsCoordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, and visa-related supportSupport pre-trip and post-trip logistics for staff, delegations, and volunteersPrepare and submit expense reports and assist with reimbursement processesTrack contracts, approvals, signatures, renewals, and other administrative workflows to help ensure deadlines are metMaintain departmental records, trackers, and operational documentationSupport coordination across global offices and internal teams to gather information, route requests, and keep initiatives movingAssist with administrative support for meetings, committees, and volunteer-related activitiesHelp improve the consistency and efficiency of administrative processes over timeWhat You'll NeedAssociate's degree or equivalent experience3-5 years of administrative assistant or related support experienceStrong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detailExperience managing schedules, meetings, travel, expenses, and general coordination tasksAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and follow through with minimal oversightStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessionalism and confidence working with leaders, colleagues, volunteers, and external contactsSound judgment, discretion, and a strong customer service mindsetProficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quicklyWhat We Offer:Competitive Compensation: We understand the value of your contributions, and we ensure that you are rewarded competitively for your skills and dedication.Generous Paid Time Off: Achieve a work-life balance with ample paid time off, giving you the flexibility you need for personal and family responsibilities.Professional Development: We invest in our team's growth.
