RF Design engineer/SME - (35.49)

Seeking For RF Design team leader engineer with 10+ years' experience in both Wireless (RF/Cellular) Engineering and Software development with a focus on bridging the two disciplines to come up with creative solutions for a large telecommunications company building out a cellular network. Wireless Design Experience * Exposure to Atoll, Planet, Overture, iBwave, Ekahau or similar desktop design tools * Understanding of 5G and LTE network architecture and KPIs * Experience in Macro, Small Cell, and In-Building design * Familiarity with drive/walk testing and post-processing data * Familiarity with crowdsourced data * Experience in propagation model tuning * Knowledge of RF Network Design Process and Stages - Initial, Interim, and Final market designs * Work with Deployment team to make adjustments to design * Creation of RFDS' for each Market * MOP for each RF Planning process * Create the initial Cell Neighbor list * Work with outside services vendors Job Requirements Software Experience * Solid programming background and ability to adapt and learn new methods and languages in an ever-changing technical landscape * Python, SQL * Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other dashboarding/analytical tools * Experience in GIS systems: Postgres/PostGIS, QGIS * Database / Big Data: AWS Products (Redshift, Athena) or similar * Excel / Power Query Professional Experience * Superb communication skills * Ability to extract scoping/feature requirements from non-technical teams * Analytical ability to sift through data and extract actionable next steps * Confidence to invent new efficient processes
