You'll put the finishing touches on the cake for our guests. Part Time and Full Time positions available. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys multitasking and is able to work at a fast pace. Physical requirements of the position involve the ability to bend, stand, and walk for up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 pound bags, and work in a repetitive environment. Must have the ability to work short periods of time in a commercial freezer. Pastry experience preferred but not necessary. Applicant must be at least 18 years old due to the required use of a commercial mixer. Job responsibilities include: Using pastry bags to frost cakes of all sizes while adhering to brand and time standards Measuring, mixing ingredients, and using a commercial mixer to make frosting Reading, organizing and fulfilling cake order tickets Using the FIFO method to rotate ingredients and complete tickets Communication between departments to ensure walk-in orders are completed Washing pastry bags, utensils & containers Cleaning & general upkeep of frosting area Receiving & shelving truck shipments Using the FIFO method to rotate ingredients Following food service health and safety standards But what makes working here so sweet?
