Position Summary:The Packer is responsible for packaging finished products according to company standards, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency. This role supports production operations by preparing items for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Key Responsibilities:Pack products according to specifications and production requirementsInspect items for quality, defects, or damage before packagingLabel, seal, and prepare boxes for shipmentMaintain accurate counts and ensure proper documentationFollow all safety, quality, and company proceduresKeep work area clean and organized at all timesAssist with line setup, breakdown, and changeovers as neededCommunicate issues or concerns to supervisor promptlyMeet daily production and performance goalsRequired Skills & Qualifications:Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailBasic math and counting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsReliable attendance and punctualityPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)Frequent lifting of up to 25-50 lbsRepetitive hand and arm movementsAbility to bend, twist, and reach throughout shiftWork Environment:Manufacturing / warehouse settingMay include exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperaturesRequired use of PPE (as applicable)
