Quality Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support laboratory and quality operations. Location: Warren County, OH Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Pay: $20-$22/hour Schedule: Training on 1st shift for ~4 weeks Transition to 2nd or 3rd shift after training Must be open to occasional overtime and weekend work Shifts: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Key Responsibilities Perform sample preparation, testing, and analysis of products to ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation Generate and manage product labeling for quality control and in-process testing Record, track, and maintain accurate data, including Certificates of Analysis Communicate quality concerns or deviations promptly to leadership Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality and lab teams Maintain a clean, organized workspace in alignment with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Assist with validation activities related to new products, equipment, and testing methods Adhere to all company, federal, and state safety and compliance regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field Exposure to or experience in quality control or laboratory environments preferred Strong attention to detail and interest in analytical testing This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
