We pride ourselves on our extensive experience in industrial wastewater engineering and operations.The Engineering Project Manager supports both clients and internal teams in the areas of industrial wastewater management and the development of innovative engineered solutions.Expectations for the Engineering Project Manager:Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects, maintaining positive relationships and upholding The Probst Group's reputationUse proven project management methods to develop and manage project schedules and budgets across all project phases, including constructionCoordinate schedules and budgets with subcontractors and equipment suppliersUse project management software to manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projectsAssign and oversee tasks delegated to project team membersCollaborate with Project Coordinators to maintain project documentation and communicate priorities and deliverablesGather client data to support design development by engineersApply The Probst Group's configuration model to ensure standardized engineering solutionsComplete bid requests and evaluate equipment and contractor quotationsReview design calculations, engineering reports, technical memos, and O&M manuals for industrial wastewater treatment systemsPrepare equipment purchase orders for assigned projectsConduct site visits to wastewater treatment facilities before and during constructionPerform other duties as assignedRequirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering, Construction, or a related fieldStrong written communication skills for reports, instructions, and proposalsStrong verbal communication skills to support frequent client interactionsWillingness to travel up to 20% of the timePreferred Experiences for the Engineering Project Manager I:Willingness to work out of the Hartland, WI officeExperience in wastewater project managementExperience in working with multi-disciplinary teams
