Director Facilities Engineering

Position Title Director Facilities Engineering Job Description Purpose & Scope: Responsible for the planning, organization, staffing, control and management of the Facilities Engineering Department. Responsible for establishing, updating and monitoring a program, responsible for the provision of maintenance and repair and equipment evaluation of Hospital and Bio-Medical Electronics in the Hospital. Acts as staff advisor on all matters of engineering services within the Hospital. Education: An associate degree in mechanical engineering is required. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is preferred. Experience: Three years management experience is required. Five years of experience in the healthcare field is required. Experience in engineering - mechanical engineering, HVAC, ER power, electrical systems, and finance/budgetary process are required. Certification/Licensure: None.
