Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for our client in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, including pre-litigation and trial preparation. You will be responsible for managing case files, drafting legal documents, and serving as a vital liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and the court.Salary:$90,000-$110,000Key Responsibilities:Assist attorneys with case management from intake through settlement or trialPrepare, draft, and file legal documents such as complaints, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and motionsManage deadlines and maintain litigation calendarsOrganize, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other evidenceCoordinate with medical providers and clients to obtain necessary documentationMaintain and update case management systems with accurate, timely informationAssist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, trial binders, and witness listsConduct legal research and investigation as neededCommunicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelPrepare settlement demand letters and assist in negotiationsAttend depositions, mediations, and court proceedings as requiredQualifications:Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum 2-4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury lawStrong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and local/state court rulesProficiency in legal software and case management tools (e.g., Clio, Needles, MyCase, or similar)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretionBenefits:Competitive salary based on experiencePaid parkingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) retirement planProfessional development opportunitiesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, protected veteran status or any other protected status under the law.EverStaff is an equal opportunity employer (M/F/D/V/SO/GI).
