The Steward maintains a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Duties:Engages in ware washing and cleaning of kitchen areas to help facilitate restaurant service Works in conjunction with the Banquet Department in loading, transporting and assisting in major banquet functions.Works with Chefs to ensure a minimum 90% rating by the Washoe County Health Department in all food outlets and bars.Maintains procedures and controls for the kitchens, including safeguards against damage, pilferage, breakage and spoilage.Ensure that all safety standards are followed and reports all unsafe and unsanitary conditions to management.Qualifications: Must be able to work any shift. Ability to work independently.Must be able to follow directions and respond with a sense of urgency.Must be able to comprehend Basic English.
