Landscape Team Member

Job Summary:Angelo's Landscape Group is looking for responsible and eager individuals who can perform landscape activities, including maintenance of properties, using professional tools & equipment to join our team. Our Company provides services to Baton Rouge and surrounding cities in South Louisiana. Our Maintenance Teams are committed to delivering high-quality work on commercial and residential properties that make a visible difference in the communities and to our clients.Job Functions: The following tasks may include, but are not limited to:CuttingMowingWateringPlantingEdging lawnsRaking Blowing LeavesInstalling sprinklersPulling or chopping weedsPruningHauling topsoil and mulchLaying sodRemoval of debris Required Skills and Abilities for the Job: Work in adverse weather conditions.Pass pre-employment drug screen and Background check.Capability of learning quickly with ease.Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.Compensation: This position is paid an hourly payrate and, at the discretion of the Employer, may include bonuses and/or extra compensation based on performance of the employee. Pay is competitive to the industry's standard.Benefits are offered after a probationary period which include:MedicalDentalVisionOptional Accident, Short-term Disability and Cancer InsuranceSimple IRAHours of Work:40+ hours per week (Monday - Friday) and may include Saturdays.Daily operation hours are from 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.Overtime work may be offered but not mandated.Education and Experience:Experience is preferable with industrial landscape equipment (i.e. zero-turn, edger, weed-eater, etc.)Knowledge of landscape maintenance is desirable.No formal education in machinery is required.Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Loading and unloading heavy equipment.Bending and squatting.Agility is essential.Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
