The Gibson Garage Events Manager oversees the events and programming calendar in partnership with the Gibson Garage management team, including Entertainment Relations & Cultural Influence. The Events Manager helps set the annual events agenda, priorities, and operational roadmap. The role focuses on maximizing revenue, impact, and reach through best-in-class experiential events that support Gibson's mission across brand integration, sales, content creation, digital platforms, and media/PR.The Events Manager brings enthusiasm, organization, strong communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail to a high-energy, public-facing role that requires grace under pressure. This role includes frequent engagement with partners, artists, vendors, clients, and customers. This position facilitates event strategy and execution-with a hospitality-driven approach-at the Gibson Garage Miami.Essential Functions Manage fiscal Gibson Garage event strategy in partnership with the Retail Director.Manage the full events calendar, including corporate partner events, artist-driven events, Gibson Gives foundation events, CI partner programming, annual initiatives, and Gibson dealer events.Responsible for reporting client feedback and monthly key metrics-including net revenue and P&L health-to the Retail Director.Utilize event management software, specifically the Tripleseat platform, to:Manage bookings for corporate partners, artists, and Gibson Gives eventsStreamline communication with preferred vendorsUpload floor plans, event documents, and reference materialsGenerate and distribute invoicesTrack event details, communications, and client requirementsManage pre-event logistics including site visits, event contracts, invoices, vendor coordination, staffing, and ROS execution.Develop and manage budgets, RFPs, vendor quotes, and collaborate with creative, production, and technical teams.Partner with key stakeholders to draft run-of-show (ROS) documentation for all events.Research and recommend new event activations, ideas, and potential vendor partners.Manage project timelines for internal teams (digital marketing, creative, etc.).Manage project timelines and deliverables for external partners (vendors and sponsors).Develop internal and external marketing materials for Gibson Garage events.Manage the booking and scheduling of both paid and unpaid Gibson Garage tours.Required Skills/AbilitiesBilingual: English/Spanish (preferred but not required) Hospitality-driven mindset and approach to all events and programming.Proven track record of successful event management (5-200+ attendees).Strong verbal and written communication skills.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.Strong financial acumen, including budget management and P&L oversight.Ability to stay calm, flexible, and solution-oriented during shifting scenarios.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Tripleseat event software, including bookings, vendor coordination, floor plan uploads, invoicing, and event communication.Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in hospitality, event marketing, business development, and/or relationship management.Proficiency in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Tripleseat, and .Essential Knowledge Strong understanding of event planning and execution, operations, sales performance drivers, and customer experience principles.Knowledge of project management, including cross-functional coordination and execution.Familiarity with industry trends in event planning and programming within the music retail landscape, consumer experiences, and premium product environments. Must be able to work in a loud environment for 8+ hours. Standing and walking required 90% of the time. Lifting required 20% of the time with a max weight of 50lbs.
