Job Type Full-timeDescriptionMaterial Handling Inc. is searching for a Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who is able to work quickly and efficiently to take care of our customers.Duties of this position include but are not limited to:Answer customer inquiries about parts, fill order requests, and sell parts across the counter.Issue parts to service personnel upon request.Ascertain make, year, and type of part needed. Advise customer of part needed according to description by customer or service technician.Discuss use and features of various parts.Read catalog, service manuals, or computer for replacement part stock number and price.Place orders with suppliers to fulfill customer requirements.Invoice orders upon completion.RequirementsGood communication, organization, time management, and mathematical skills.2 Years Automotive or Forklift Parts Experience Required. Self Motivation is a plusDetail Oriented is essentialMicrosoft Office Experience requiredDesire to work hard and take care of the customerHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred
