" /n Job Description Outline /n 1. Position Overview /n The Stadium Operations Intern will support Marsden Central's stadium division at one of our four stadium locations. Interns will rotate through all operational shifts in a 24-hour environment to gain comprehensive exposure to stadium cleaning operations, management, and customer service delivery. This role provides hands-on experience in shift management, project execution, administrative duties, and employee supervision, contributing directly to meeting client expectations while supporting budget adherence. /n 2. Key Responsibilities /n A. Shift Management /n /n * Assist with coordinating and overseeing daily cleaning operations across assigned shifts. /n * Support shift leads in delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring service standards are met. /n * Participate in shift turnover processes, briefing incoming teams on completed work and priorities. /n /n B. Project Completion /n /n * Help plan, execute, and verify completion of cleaning projects tied to game schedules, events, and stadium usage. /n * Monitor project timelines and ensure tasks are completed according to specifications. /n * Conduct walkthroughs to ensure quality and compliance with client requirements. /n /n C. Administrative Tasks /n /n * Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll-related documentation. /n * Maintain inventory records, supply requests, and equipment logs. /n * Prepare reports on shift performance, labor usage, and project status for management review. /n /n D. Employee Supervision /n /n * Support supervisors in overseeing team performance and attendance. /n * Provide hands-on guidance to team members to ensure safe and effective cleaning practices. /n * Help facilitate team communication and reinforce Marsden Central standards and expectations. /n /n 3. Learning Objectives & Development /n /n * Gain full understanding of stadium cleaning operations in a 24/7 environment. /n * Develop leadership skills through direct supervision and shift oversight. /n * Learn how operational decisions impact budget performance and client satisfaction. /n * Build experience with workforce management, communication, and problem solving. /n * Understand the unique logistical and quality-control challenges of large event facilities. /n /n 4. Schedule & Work Environment /n /n * This is a summer internship requiring rotation through all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and event days. /n * Work is onsite at the assigned stadium and id often in fast-paced, high-traffic environments. /n * Interns should expect physical activity, extended periods on their feet, and work around ongoing stadium operations. /n /n 5. Qualifications /n /n * Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field (preferred but not required). /n * Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. /n * Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. /n * Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented, and sometimes physically demanding environment. /n /n 6.
