About the Role Back of House Team Leaders are a critical part of Chick-fil-A Cypress Ranch's leadership structure and serve as the driving force behind kitchen operations. In this role, you will lead the BOH team to deliver safe, high-quality food with speed, accuracy, and consistency-while upholding Chick-fil-A's industry-leading standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for individuals who are passionate about food safety, operational excellence, and developing others in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Who We Are * One of the fastest-growing quick-service restaurant brands in the U.S. * National leader in customer service and hospitality * Inventor of the Original Chicken Sandwich * Faith-based, locally owned, and operated * Closed every Sunday * Committed to excellence in food safety and quality Schedule * Full-Time * 40+ hours per week * Must be available to open and/or close * Shifts range from 5:30 AM - 11:30 PM Benefits * Health insurance options * 401(k) with company match (eligibility requirements apply) * Scholarship opportunities up to $2,500 per year * Flexible scheduling * Leadership development and mentorship * Discounted meals * Positive, team-oriented work environment Requirements (Applications that do not meet the experience requirement will not be considered) * Prior Chick-fil-A experience required, including a minimum of one (1) year of Chick-fil-A shift-leading experience * High school diploma or equivalent * Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, high-volume environments * Experience operating commercial kitchen and service equipment * Strong understanding of food safety standards (ServSafe certification a plus) * Comfortable using kitchen technology, including POS and KDS systems * Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to multitask and prioritize without constant supervision * Dependable, adaptable, and solution-oriented * Strong communication and team leadership skills * Willingness to work in hot and cold environments Responsibilities * Lead and oversee kitchen operations during assigned shifts * Ensure food is prepared, held, and served to Chick-fil-A quality and safety standards * Uphold and enforce food safety and sanitation procedures * Coach, train, and develop team members on BOH processes and performance * Monitor food production, waste control, and efficiency * Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness * Collaborate with Front of House leadership to ensure smooth service flow * Assist with inventory management and daily prep planning * Execute opening/closing kitchen procedures * Step into any BOH position as needed during peak times * Provide real-time feedback to drive improvement and accountability * Promote a culture of care, respect, and excellence Ready to Lead with Purpose?
