1st Shift: 5am-1pm Monday-Friday, some Saturdays during our peak season. 2nd Shift: 1pm-11pm Monday-Thursday, some Fridays & Saturdays during our peak season. What we offer:Starting wage of $20/hour (plus $1.58 shift differential for 2nd shift). $22-$25/hour after 720 hours worked! Consistent working shift (no swing), plus overtimeSundays and holidays offComprehensive benefits package following a probationary periodYou could join our team if you:Have at least a high school diploma or equivalentCan work up to 12-hour shifts, including some SaturdaysHave some prior manufacturing experience (this is preferred, but not necessary)Are enthusiastic about learning and building new skills!Required on All Positions:Be a leader in safety and quality standardsTroubleshoot mechanical and system issuesPerform machine set-ups and change-overs to different types of productsProcess, understand, and plan for ordersParticipate in training of other team members and improvement of own skillset in order to operate multiple machines within the plantTake direction from management, supervisors, and operatorsComplete varied tasks within the plant, including frequently lifting items of up to 50 pounds and infrequently lifting items of up to 75 pounds.Strong attention to detail and comfortable using computerized equipmentCommunicate and work effectively with a diverse workforceOperate lift equipment, stand-up or sit-down, at heights of up to 25 feet, as neededKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPrior machine operator and/or forklift experience is preferred.Must possess basic math skills that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and calculation of averages.Ability to read standard and metric rulers.Ability to use light tools such as wrenches, channel locks, and screw drivers.Ability to analyze, interpret, and problem solve in a variety of situations.Ability to work individually and in small groups.Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office related software.Working Conditions:The employee may experience variable working conditions in the work environment.
