Quality Assurance Analyst Intern

Job Summary:We are looking to add a highly motivated QA Intern to our team. You will work as part of a team responsible for the testing and verification of a complex IWMS application and supporting products. In this role you will maintain and execute automated test scripts, develop performance tests, and verify product functionality based upon changes to the IWMS platform and supporting products.FacilityForce provides Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) for city, state, county, and commercial customers throughout North America. We empower people and organizations to improve their communities by providing software solutions that facilitate effective stewardship of their facilities and assets.The hired candidate will work in a hybrid capacity, with a combination of remote work and on-site work at the FacilityForce office in San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A.Job Description:Duties/ResponsibilitiesMaintain automated scripts to ensure they stay up-to-date with the functionality of the IWMS application based on recent code changes and specifications provided by Product Management.Develop and execute performance tests and report results to QA Lead.Incorporate new automated scripts that are developed by the QA team into the continuous integration cycle.Perform other duties as may be assigned by management or team lead.Qualifications:Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or a similar fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsProgramming experience (Javascript, java, etc.)Ability to write basic SQL commands.Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, IntelliJ, etc.Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues in a results-driven, team-oriented environment.Additional Qualifications (nice to have, but not required):Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (including Scrum and Kanban)Familiar with CI/CD tools such as JenkinsFamiliar with databases such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL ServerKnowledge of mobile applications (iOS)Worker Type:Student (Fixed Term) (Trainee)Number of Openings Available: 2
