This full-time (1.0 FTE) position will be split evenly between both schools (0.5 FTE at each school), serving students in grades K 5 with a variety of academic and behavioral needs.We are looking for a passionate educator who values inclusion, equity, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will be flexible, student-centered, and skilled in building strong relationships across two school communities.The special education teacher will work closely with students, families, and staff to provide services through a variety of models, including:Pull-out instructionPush-in supportCo-teaching with general education staffQualifications:Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.Salary:Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility.
