Position OverviewAs an instructor in the PBCA Music Conservatory, you will help shape future Christian leaders who will advance God's church, community, and His Kingdom on earth. This position is a core function of a fine arts enrichment program.Reports to the Principal - Part-time, hours per week based on student enrollmentQualificationsEvidence of strong Christian faith and values.Evidence of knowledge and logic of school curriculum and the ability to implement it.Evidence of ability to interact collaboratively with students, parents, and Administration.Experience in elementary school after school childcare and/or fine arts programs.Bachelor's degree or related experience teaching music to children.Must pass a drug test and level 2 background check.Strong interest in education and teaching. SkillsCommunication both written and oral.Decision making.Commitment to School's vision and mission.Organization.Flexible.Teamwork.Able to handle moderate to high stress levels.Excellent integrity and demonstrates ability to model strong Christian character in their life to others.ResponsibilitiesProvide private music lessons to elementary students in accordance with educational theories and techniques.Work hours between 3 pm and 6 pm.Create engaging and interactive lesson plans.Maintain accurate attendance records.Ensure the safety and security of students.Follow proper student check-in and dismissal procedures.Maintain professionalism regarding school policy.Provide monthly program reports and impact measures.
